“KDHT LOGO Hat”.

A hat for all the times someone has told you to ‘keep dreaming” or to “get your head out the clouds”.

Old Movies and Black T-shirts.

I did this awhile back with a Youtube video, this time around its just photos and more curated selection. So Here are a few of my favorite vintage movie tees that i own.

Supreme Box Logo tee: Product Photography

Now this isn’t a review or a rant or anything like that. So lets just get the obvious out the way. Yes this is a Supreme Box logo and Yes I am still buying Supreme in 2023. Ok now that’s done and out the way, lets talk about product photography. Its a straight forward answer on why I claim product photography over anything else. I fell in love with “fit pictures” “wdywt” and “outfit grids”. So here are some photos in my studio of a cool shirt please enjoy.

Queued Up in Chicago for JFG “1998” collection.

I know. You’re exactly right, the Idea of queueing up in 2023 just seems ridiculous. Now this was not the normal “line up” from the good’ ole days of sneaker drops, everyone inline actually have secured and purchased their pair previously through an online raffle. Confused?, trust me we all were too. Standing in the cold rainy weather for over an hour was a little excessive to just pick up the item and maybe buy some apparel that released along side the shoe.

A Look inside HeySeeYa Vintage.

On a previous post you were introduced to HeySeeYa via a vintage pop-up collab. This time around we’ll take a look into the flagship storefront located right inside Rosie’s Coffee. Take a look at @heyseeya on Instagram and give them a follow.

Lets go to The Met.

  • In Route.

Its our first time in NY, we have 3 days to explore, So like the tourist we are we decided to make it to as many Museums as possible. Now we have a plan we just need directions and Google maps shows 2-3 Museums around Central Park. Perfect great…. wrong like I said this is our first time in NY and we underestimated how big of a park we were walking into. After a hike through the park and a few city blocks we arrived to The Met!

  • The Met.

Upon arriving you are instantly reminded of what type of space you are about to enter, the large amount of steps leading to the entrance are occupied by visitors, vendors are out front selling art food and jewelry, its loud its busy its NEW YORK! Just moments after taking this in we seen the line to enter The Met and proceeded to take our place.

  • Amazing.

Now if you have never been to The Met let me just tell you this. You are not clearing this place in one visit unless your schedule is clear for the next few hours. I promise you this though even if you don’t make it all the through and to every floor you will not leave unsatisfied. This is a popular area in the photo about. I believe during the Met Ball this area is cleared out but during normal business hours this area houses some amazing statues.

  • Gogh

See the trick is to Google all the dope shit you want to see. Make a list and don’t get sidetracked. I this this Gogh had been on tour and not back at the Met so how could this not make my list. This exhibit and maybe a few others actually had a line or an audience whatever you want to call it. I maybe took 3-4 photos then stood there and took a good long look before it was time to move on.

My photography Setup.

I don’t mind sharing any information regarding photography. Actually I have been sharing information on particular photo assignments I have been involved with over on my Instagram account. So I figured now is the time to share what equipment shoot with. I have some new equipment I have some old equipment but it fits my small range of photography from portraits to Look books to senior portraits and some wedding gigs.

Laceup815

A Sneaker Boutique.

Sneaker shopping online is convenient and basically the only option at times. Well I’m here to remind you that nothing beats the experience of walking into a shop finding that grail or recent release you took an L on and walking out 10-15 minutes later with that shoe in hand. So here we have @lacedup815 a local sneaker boutique if you will, not the first in the city I’ve shopped with but definitely one that deserves its flowers. With an assortment of sneakers from every brand there is something for the enthusiast and the average consumer. Please check them out if you are able to physically if not give them a follow on Instagram.

Art + 90’s R&B

Lets talk about a well curated and awesome themed art show by Sierra Wade. Being able to directly related to the theme I took it upon myself to make sure I attended this show. Once i arrived I was greeted with an introduction to the storytelling of the each photo/exhibit, something I wasn’t expecting at all. So take a look at some photos I took at the show and give Sierra a follow on Instagram.

A Well Curated Pop-Up: Fall Vintage

Just don’t sell clothes, make a statement. Its so easy putting clothing on a hanger calling it a “pop-up” and saying '“come buy this!” but when there is just a little extra thought put into the presentation of A “pop-up” you end up shopping at a well curated vintage art installation like the one pictured below. Take a look at the the vintage outerwear @smileysvintagesupply & @heyseeya have on display and give them a follow on Instagram.

Supreme Chicago

opening day.

Forget for one second how Supreme might make you feel in 2022 and try to remember if you can the very first time you discovered the brand or even better yet try to remember that first item you had to have proxied because @SupremeNewYork only had a physical store.

This is exactly the feeling i felt today 11-10-2022 when just a hour 1/2 away from where I live Supreme is opening a store. I will admit it does feel kinda late but on time. I wasn’t excited to make a purchase, I was excited to take pictures of people who still enjoy shopping at Supreme. So take a look at the photos below its been awhile since I did some street photography so I cheated using a 28-70 lens to avoid the up close and personal vibe. Supreme Chicago!
